Club Constitution

About the Club
Beaver Masters is a small "Masters Only" Swimming Club catering for Adult Swimmers:-
Senior Swimmers aged 18 to 24
and Masters aged 25 and over.
Activities include:- Pool Lane Swimming.
And Masters Competition Swimming
Currently there are about half a dozen swimmers who regularly train with the club.

Training Sessions
We train in the public sessions at the
Trinity Arts and Leisure Centre Pool (25M),
Bedford Sixth Form College, Bedford.
* Monday to Friday 6:30am to 8:30am.
* Sunday mornings 10am to 11am,
which is the one we all try to make.

Swimming Level
It is assumed that new members will already know how to swim and can join in sessions of lane swimming that last for about an hour.
We try to keep swimmers of similar ability in a lane. Currently we do not provide coaching

Why Join?
Members join for:-
* Recreational Swimming for health and fun
* Competitive Swimming against other Masters and Seniors at the many events (See Competition Calendar Link) organised by other ASA Clubs, Counties, Regions, National and International e.g.European and World.
Category 2 membership is required for insurance purposes.
* To Benefit Other Swimming Based Activities including Open Water Swimming, Tri-athlon, Water Polo, Synchronised Swimming, Disabled Swimming, Diving, Sub-Aqua, Lifesaving, Canoeing/Kayaking, etc.
